Following on from the success of last year’s market, Selfridges has brought back its festive offering, hidden on a secret mews behind the department store. Created in collaboration with Dominic Cools-Lartigue, founder of Street Feast, this year’s Christmas market has a treasure trove of stalls with plenty of tempting gifts and foodie treats to try as you wander. Highlights include gourmet burgers and chips by The Tramshed Project, Filipino street food from Bong Bongs and cookies and nitrogen ice cream by Chin Chin. Pick up a sustainably-grown Christmas tree from Moyses Stevens (it comes wrapped in biodegradable netting and can be delivered to your door and even decorated if you want to avoid the faff), or a beautiful personalised wreath from Your London Florist. You can shop the Selfridges Selection range, including festive treats including panettone, mince pies and bottled mulled wine made by Finsbury Park’s Top Cuvée. And, of course, there are appearances from Father Christmas plus the impressive vintage Helter-Skelter has returned, as well as new fairground rides for children and adults to enjoy.
