Chelsea institution The Bluebird is transforming the famous King’s Road into the Queen’s Road for one week only, in honour of Mother’s Day. Bring your mum along to try their week-long cocktail menu, featuring five Queen-themed tipples, or book in for the three-course ‘Queen’s Day’ lunch on Sunday, which features their signature spatchcock chicken and comes with a special gift. New mums and mums-to-be are catered for too, with a 45-minute baby and toddler-friendly dance class held in the private Campbell Room on Saturday 21 March.

Berners Tavern Afternoon Tea with Caran d’Ache
Afternoon tea may not be the most original idea for a Mother’s Day celebration, but this one comes with a twist. Berners Tavern has teamed up with legendary Swiss stationers Caran d’Ache to offer diners the chance to have their portrait drawn by painter and fashion illustrator Poppy Waddilove, who has worked with brands including Net-a-Porter and Jasper Conran.
