The official Christmas countdown is about to begin and who doesn’t love marking each day with a spot of self-gifting? Where once there were nativity scenes or, if you were lucky, a chocolate behind each window, now you can use the festive season to treat yourself or someone you love to daily beauty products. Whether it’s Space NK’s anthology of store favourites, or a selection of party season make-up from Charlotte Tilbury, you’ll be all set for beauty products for the run up to Christmas, New Year and far beyond.
They don’t get much more beautiful than Christian Dior’s festive offering with its stunning illustration of 30 Avenue Montaigne, by the artist and illustrator Vincent Darré. In each window is contained a beauty product from Dior – small scent bottles, candles, soaps or face creams – or an exclusive gift, such as a scented ceramic heart or disc. It’s undoubtedly the chicest of them all.

It’s been a staple on the beauty advent calendar scene for a while now, but we still can’t resist 24 treats courtesy of the popular perfumer. The calendar itself is a simple, no frills design in the brand’s signature colours, but in the boxes there are a mix of Jo Malone’s signature perfumes, travel-size bath and body products, miniature candles and home scents.
