Browns Kidswear

Following the launch of its striking new flagship in Mayfair last April, this month the luxury boutique retailer unveiled their first dedicated childrenswear section. The curated seasonal selection of accessories and fashion covers newborns through to 16-year-olds, with pieces from renowned labels including Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Fendi, Gucci and Stella McCartney. Ida Petersson, Browns’ buying director, has also revealed that over the coming months, Browns Kidswear will include inaugural capsules and exclusives from exciting brands such as Off-White, Hunza Baby G and Zimmerman. To celebrate the launch, Browns marked the new department with a ‘Honey, I Shrunk The Fashion,’ shoot, putting a playful spin on the typical glossy fashion editorial by inviting the kids to step into the shoes of stylists, photographers and models.

Self-Portrait’s Childrenswear

Since its launch seven years ago, the London-based womenswear label has become an accessible go-to for cocktail dresses, with founder Han Chong’s feminine, contemporary designs that combine modern techniques with a timeless elegance. Now, the brand has launched its first ever line for children, kicking off with 21 different styles across seven sizes, ranging from 3-12 years. Equal parts pretty and cool, the polka dot taffeta and tiered lace dresses are sure to be a go-to for flower girl or mini wedding guest options. There are gorgeous separates, too, including delicate white poplin shirts, fuschia embroidered skirts and a dramatic blue tiered taffeta cape with neat bow tie.
