7 of the most decadent Platinum Jubilee hampers to toast Her Majesty in style

These are the hampers with the royal seal of approval

With the Queen celebrating an unprecedented 70 years on the throne and an extra bank holiday thrown in to create a glorious four-day weekend, this June is set to play host to a nationwide party like no other. And what better way to celebrate than with a truly decadent Platinum Jubilee hamper jam-packed with British treats and goodies? Whether it’s a luxurious spread from Fortnum & Mason or a Windsor print-topped suitcase from Liberty, there’s something to suit every taste and occasion. Here we’ve rounded up the finest Jubilee hampers for raising a glass to Her Majesty this June.

Fortnum & Mason
Jubilee Celebration Hamper

Fortnum & Mason has a long and storied connection to the Royal Family, dating all the way back to 1855, when Queen Victoria requested a tin of concentrated Beef Tea be sent to Florence Nightingale in the Crimea ‘without delay’. The Queen, meanwhile, personally undertook Christmas shopping at the Piccadilly department store until she was in her seventies. So it seems only fitting that they should have created the grandest of Jubilee celebration hampers to celebrate her historic reign, crammed full of delicacies including Champagne, limited edition tea blends and chocolate and macadamia nut biscuits packaged in a special musical Platinum Jubilee tin.

Jubilee Hamper

This fun new offering from Selfridges offers plenty of royal-themed memorabilia to get you through the Platinum Jubilee weekend. Alongside a tin of Walkers pure butter shortbread, which is housed in a special commemorative caddie emblazoned with a photograph of Her Majesty, and an Ahmad Platinum Jubilee tea tin featuring one of her regal portraits, you’ll find House of Dorchester salted caramel milk chocolate crowns and a trio of Tiptree preserves all presented in an elegant wicker basket.

Harvey Nichols
Platinum Jubilee Celebration Hamper

Throw a right royal knees-up with this celebratory hamper from Harvey Nichols, which is packed full of patriotic favourites that will get the long weekend off to the best possible start. For drinks there’s Whitley Neill’s gin, which was created in the heart of London specially to mark the Queen’s momentous occasion, as well as four premium tonic waters made exclusively for the department store in Aberdeenshire and adorned with the iconic de Havilland Mosquito aircraft in a nod to the RAF, who are set to make an appearance on the big day. There’s also two fine wines from England as well as an array of snacks and nibbles, including spicy crackers and chocolates emblazoned with Union Jacks to match the bunting.

Paxton and Whitfield
Jubilee Feast

They’re Britain’s oldest and most revered cheesemongers, who have been hand-delivering wheels of cheese to St James’s Palace for decades, so it seems only right that Paxton & Whitfield should have concocted one of the most decadent tributes around. Their limited-edition Jubilee Feast is the perfect addition to any royal-themed street party, crammed full of artisan cheeses, freshly-baked pork pies, scotch eggs, piccalilli and beetroot and horseradish chutney, as well as English sparkling wine to wash it all down with. Bottoms up!

Windsor Ribbon Jubilee Suitcase Hamper

Never ones to shy away from doing something a little different, all of Liberty’s hamper offerings come in a chic suitcase rather than the more traditional wicker basket. Their Jubilee edition is wrapped in the department store’s archival Windsor Ribbon print – a jubilant design made up of interlinking ribbons, crowns and star jewels. Inside you’ll find everything you need for a regal tea party, including a selection of cakes and biscuits as well as a commemorative Platinum Jubilee bunting mug.

Royal Collection
Larder Hamper

If you’re after genuinely royal-approved treats, look no further than this collection of goodies straight from the Royal Collection’s Food Hall. They’ve raided their larder and put together a majestic hamper, which comes with Buckingham Palace Royal Blend breakfast tea, a box of English truffles, Scottish shortbread biscuits, jams and marmalades and a bottle of mixed vintage white wine. They’ve even thrown in a commemorative apron, while the wicker basket comes adorned with the Buckingham Palace crown insignia, making it the smartest centrepiece for any Jubilee weekend picnic.

King’s Platinum Jubilee Hamper

Last year, King’s was honoured with a Royal Warrant for their selection of fine foods, which has a strong emphasis on caviar (their founder, Laura King MBE, is widely regarded as the UK’s leading caviar expert). As a thank you to Her Majesty they’ve come up with their own Platinum Jubilee offering, which features their in-house Platinum Caviar – a special hybrid of Oscietra and Siberian Sturgeon – a bottle of Ayala Brut Champagne, a mother of pearl spoon and caviar tin opener, as well as a selection of biscuits and chocolates. A truly decadent way to ring in the Jubilee celebrations.
