Date Night Meal Kit
This cosy, candlelit 18th century townhouse restaurant in Soho has long been a favourite with couples looking for a quiet place to canoodle, and now you can recreate some of that famed Andrew Edmunds magic at home with their Date Night meal kit, created in collaboration with Dishpatch. The restaurant’s head chef Tom Trubshaw has designed a menu of heart-warming dishes to put you in the mood for love, from his favourite creamy carrot and chestnut soup to confit duck leg and Black Forest gateau. And for added romance, they’ve even thrown in some candles from Issy Granger to help set the mood for your amorous tablescape.

Valentine’s Day Menu
Chef Adam Handling (the man behind Frog in Covent Garden) is pulling out all the stops with the Valentine’s Day menu he’s created via his nationwide food delivery service, Hame. This is the sort of supper that simply can’t fail to impress: to start there’s grilled lobster served with garlic butter, followed by the finest quality Chateaubriand to share (which comes with a side of brilliantly-named ‘millionaire chips’). Finish off with an opulent chocolate fondant served with strawberry clotted cream. And if you’re really looking to push the boat out, why not finish things off with a bottle of Handling’s own-label English sparkling wine.

Osso Bucco Supper
If Italian is the language of love, then Angela Hartnett’s Mediterranean dishes must be the food of love – and her Valentine’s Day menu is here to further convince us of this fact. The northern Italian-inspired dinner centres around the indulgent Milanese delicacy of osso bucco, which Harnett braises in chianti, house-made chicken stock, vegetables, rosemary and thyme until it’s meltingly tender. Alongside this you’ll find mushroom and truffle arancini, a salad of roasted squash, gorgonzola and walnuts, and a dolci made up of an Italian take on a British favourite: panettone bread and butter pudding, with pistachio crème anglaise and candied pistachios.

Valentine’s Day Menu
Celebrated British chef Tom Aikens – the man behind one of London’s most romantic restaurants, Muse – has teamed up with meal delivery service Finish & Feast to create a menu featuring dishes from his much-lauded repertoire. There’s treacle cured Loch Duart salmon to start, served with smoked potatoes, pickled cucumber and dill yoghurt, followed by beef short rib and stilton cottage pie with roasted Crown Prince squash. Dessert is a moreish sticky toffee date pudding with clotted cream. As if that wasn’t enough, you can also add in extras from Finish & Feast’s extensive list of dishes, including a knockout cheeseboard from Britain’s leading cheesemonger Paxton & Whitfield.

Valentine’s Vegan Box
French chef Alexis Gauthier is one of London’s most renowned culinary wizards, and his Soho restaurant has become the chicest vegan spot in the capital. This Valentine’s Day the award-winning chef has created a one-off box featuring eight courses of stand-out plant-based dishes – think black truffle lasagne and celeriac tournedos – all cooked and prepared at his Romilly Street restaurant. Alongside the main dishes, each box also comes with a range of Gauthier’s inventive canapés (including their famous ‘Faux Gras’ on toast) and petits fours, candles and rose petals for the table and a dedicated playlist filled with romantic favourites often heard at the restaurant. What’s more, they’ll even throw in two portions of their fresh hand-made granola for the morning after.

Valentine’s Tapas Night In
This Spanish feasting box bills itself as a ‘recipe for love’, and who are we to argue? Its dazzling array of dishes is certainly bound to put a smile on anyone’s face. There’s a mix of hot and cold tapas included, from an artisan cheese selection and hand-carved Ibérico ham to grilled octopus, plump prawns and roasted Cantabrian sea anchovies, all finished off with a rich Tarta de la Abuela, a delightful combination of chocolate and cream. Turn it into a truly celebratory occasion by adding in a bottle of Raventos Rosé pink fizz.
