Chef Adam Handling (the man behind Frog in Covent Garden) is pulling out all the stops with the Valentine’s Day menu he’s created via his nationwide food delivery service, Hame. This is the sort of supper that simply can’t fail to impress: to start there’s grilled lobster served with garlic butter, followed by the finest quality Chateaubriand to share (which comes with a side of brilliantly-named ‘millionaire chips’). Finish off with an opulent chocolate fondant served with strawberry clotted cream. And if you’re really looking to push the boat out, why not finish things off with a bottle of Handling’s own-label English sparkling wine.

The northern Italian-inspired dinner centres around the indulgent Milanese delicacy of osso bucco, which Harnett braises in chianti, house-made chicken stock, vegetables, rosemary and thyme until it’s meltingly tender. Alongside this you’ll find mushroom and truffle arancini, a salad of roasted squash, gorgonzola and walnuts, and a dolci made up of an Italian take on a British favourite: panettone bread and butter pudding, with pistachio crème anglaise and candied pistachios.
