Beachwear Collections

Missoni x Mytheresa

The Italian fashion house, Missoni  — infamous for its brightly hued knitwear designs  — has lent its signature chevron-stripe to luxury ecommerce site, Mytheresa, creating a capsule collection worthy of any sunny destination.

The eight-piece beachwear line features everything from swimwear to kaftans, as well as a handy tote bag that’s perfectly formed for all those poolside essentials. And they all come emblazoned in the brand’s graphic yet lustrous zigs and zags. The 1960s-inspired mini dress is a firm favourite. Taking a sustainable approach this season, pieces from the range are up-cycled from prismatic deadstock fabrics.

Emilia Wickstead x Emporio Sirenuse

In celebration of summer and the elegance of la dolce vita, Emilia Wickstead has collaborated with the team behind the Positano-based resort label, Emporio Sirenuse, which is renowned for its luxurious resort wear. Expect shades of Sicilian lemon offset with monochrome stripes and deep reds and greens.

Together with Carla Paravicini Sersale and her niece, Viola Parrocchetti, the London designer has expertly crafted a small but mighty collection of vibrant, retro-inspired garms for head to toe. Discover high-waisted bikinis, coordinating pool slides, and sumptuous separates that act as the perfect cover-ups for any vacation, be it Brighton or Barbados.

Chanel

This summer, Chanel fuses its signature camellia flower with the iconic, interlocking CC logo into a Hawaiian print, for its Chanel Coco Beach 2021 collection. The capsule features bucket hats, beach towels and a lust worthy surfboard, as well as loose-fitting shirts, shorts and asymmetric swimwear — all emblazoned with the graphic blooms and the Parisian label’s iconography.

Standouts from the range include the swimsuit and bikini designs, which come in modernist monochromatic hues, and are finished with delicate bows. And to celebrate the collection imagined by artistic director, Virginie Viard, the singer and House ambassador Angèle acts as the face of its campaign saturated with vitality and vivaciousness.

Totême, the Stockholm-based label that’s the epitome of laid-back luxury and Scandi chic, has turned its attention to creating a beachwear capsule collection that epitomises that elegant nonchalance. In doing so, the brand collaborated with London luxury retailer, Matchesfashion, to offer a holiday edit of swimwear, sarongs, kaftans, and throw-on terry dresses.

Walking the fine line between contemporary and timeless, the 13 pieces created come in neutral tones of ivory, brown and beige, feature graphic monogram jacquard logos, and elegantly crafted from nautical silk or organic-cotton blend bouclé. Keeping in line with the brand’s DNA, the silhouettes are both refined yet relaxed.

Dioriviera

Created with pure escapism and wanderlust in mind, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s 2021 iteration of the Dioriviera summer capsule plays on the fashion house’s core codes — from toile de Jouy to the Dior Oblique motif — and offers everything from summer swimwear staples to ready-to-wear, leather goods and shoes in punchy hues of chartreuse and raspberry.

You’ll notice iconic Dior handbags, such as the Lady D-Lite top handle and the Dior Caro shoulder bag, have been given the riviera treatment, as have visors, hoodies, scarves and vanity cases — anything one might need at any destination, vacation or otherwise. The 2021 offering even includes homeware and lifestyle items, such as throw cushions, candles, blankets and a surfboard.
